MS and Hyperbaric Treatment
Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of the nervous system that results in localized patches of inflammation in the brain and spinal cord, which may eventually scar (sclerosis).
The results make sense to me when inflammation is the cause of the destruction and the hyperbaric chamber is a natural anti-inflammatory.
So with MS I have found that most people would need to start hyperbaric treatments and not stop. And a large percentage of people have symptoms return when they stop getting the treatments.
MS is thought to be an incurable auto immune disease which causes the myelin sheaths to be destroyed due to localized inflammation.
I do not have enough "evidence" to say anything but hyperbaric appears to help people with MS. If it even slows the progress that is good.
